Cabbage is a very popular vegetable. It is produced in winter season in the plains of the country till the starting of summer. Cabbage is very nutritious, it contains vitamin A and C.

Sowing

Sowing should be started in the beginning of August. Transplantation should be started in the beginning of September. For pre and post crop 400-500 gm of seeds per hectare is required.

Irrigation

Irrigation should be done right after sowing and 7-10 days after sowing. In winter irrigation should be done in 10-12 day intervals. When the fruits get ready for plucking, irrigate them to prevent breaking.
